Robert's Page

 

This is picture of Robert and his family. From left to right they are Susel Robert's mother, Anna, his sister, Robert (and we all know who he is.), and Martin (his dad).

 

Here is a picture of Robert and Daria.  This picture is taken three or four years later.  Both Robert and Daria are in the German Army.  Right now they are both attending college in Munich.  Daria is studying to be a dentist, and Robert will get his degree in engineering.  See, I told you Robert wouldn’t end up as a plumber!  (Not that there is anything wrong with being a plumber!)

 

I guess I was lucky. Whatever Robert made in shop class, I got to keep it. This is his first project---a stand that looks like it could have been purchased in an expensive furniture store. At least, it seems that way to me.

 

Here is the famous coffee table again. At has three glass panels on the top. Someday I will etch some Jayhawks on the top of them. What higher honor could be bestowed on a coffee table of this quality? Maybe the only thing wrong with it is that I can no longer put my feet on the coffee table.

 

This is a poster from Sprockhovel, Germany, Robert's hometown. Hanging in front of the poster are some eggs--Easter eggs?? You will have to ask him to tell you the story behind both of these curious items. And, believe me, Robert loves to tell (long) stories!

 

What greater honor could a person have than to graduate from Valley Falls High School? Well, probably more than we could ever mention on this page. But, nevertheless, here is Robert on his graduation day from that great educational institution.

 

Here we are at our Halloween party. And what do you do at Halloween parties? Your make jack-o-lanterns (whether you want to or not.) Maybe we can use this pumpkin for our Thanksgiving dinner.

 

Robert is seen here drinking one of his favorite beverages---ice tea. (After all, he is living in the USA and that is that most teenagers drink. Right?)
