Oliver's Page

 

This is a picture of Oliver's family that I took when I visited them in the summer of 1998. From left to right they are Michael, Annemie (Oliver's mother), Eugen (Oliver's dad), and Oliver himself. A handsome family, indeed!

 

This picture certainly describes how Oliver and I both regard the correct relationship between Kansas University and that other university in the state of Kansas. Oliver painted this picture for me for my birthday----a birthday which we both share---in the summer of 1997. Oliver is probably the biggest Jayhawk fan in Balingen, Germany.

 

This is a stained glass Jayhawk that Oliver made while he was living with me. It was a gift from one lifelong Jayhawk fan to another. GO HAWKS! (I wonder how you say that in German?) If you are ever in Germany, look in his window and you can see the Jayhawk that I made for him. (We won't discuss which one is nicer!)

This is a picture of Oliver getting "high" in Topeka. This is he and his parents atop Burnetts Mound, the highest point in the city of Topeka, Kansas.

 

Oliver's parent, Eugen and Annemie, and I are sitting in front of the school where I (allegedly) work.

 

We have captured Oliver in one of his favorite poses. I wouldn't say that this is the "real" Oliver, but is not "unreal" either. He is asleep in my office, or at least I think he is. Sometimes it is difficult to tell.
