This historic cathedral is the major Roman Catholic cathedral in Berlin. It was largely destroyed in World War II, along with the surrounding State Opera House and Humboldt University, but it was rebuilt on a smaller scale following the War. Its domed shape is easily recognizable along Unter den Linden behind the Bebelplatz. There are organ recitals most afternoons.
