Ku’Damm is the shortened form of Kurfurstendamm, which undoubtedly the main street of “west” Berlin…..and certainly the most fashionable. It has been called the “Fifth Avenue” of Berlin. It is lined with many upscale stores of many different kinds…as well as some of Berlin’s most exclusive restaurants.
