Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church
This church was badly damaged during WW II, but the government left part of it standing as a war memorial. It is located in what can probably be described as the center of “west” Berlin, adjacent to the Europa Center and Hardenberger Platz. Aside from the sidewalk cafes and street vendors, it is a favorite hangout for various street performers, artists, and assorted other strange people.
