This large plaza has often been called the most beautiful plaza in Berlin. Although that may be a matter of personal taste, it is definitely impressive with the massive concert house flanked by the identical French Cathedral (on the north) and the German Cathedral (on the south.). Both cathedrals are now museums, although there is a active church attached to the French Cathedral.
