Here is probably the oldest and most famous of the Berlin Hotels. A luxury hotel before World War II, it was badly damaged by Allied bombing, torn down during the communist regime, and then completely rebuilt again. It is located in a prestigious location overlooking the Brandenburg Gate, around the corner from the British Embassy and across Pariser Platz from the French Embassy.
